Vassilios Chrissochos

Billy has spent over 15 years serving the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater NY in various capacities. As an Executive Board member and as member of the Cultural Committee he has organized Operas and Broadway musicals for the Hellenic Independence Day Parade.

He has also organized Greek themed Heavy Metal concerts, a Greek themed tattoo art exhibit, a Constantine P. Cavafy poetry night co-sponsored by City Lore and NYC, An MMA Pankration seminar with international athletes, a tribute and award ceremony to the Astoria community’s OSS (Office of Strategic Services) Veterans, the Ms. Greek Independence Day pageant, as well as Art and Crafts exhibits with the Greek Artists Guild.

He serves as an Executive Board Member of the Aldo’s Regular Democratic Club for over 25 years. Billy has been in finance and banking for 17 years working at Marathon Bank, EAB, Olympian Bank and Flushing Savings Bank. He has also had historical. political and musical themed shows on AKTINA FM, Nexus Productions Radio and QPTV.

Billy is married to his wife Despina and they have two wonderful little
girls, Triantafyllia and Theoni.
